Fellow TnBirders
If any of you are on the Alabama Gulf Coast between April 1 and April 14th,
2006, may I extend an invitation to you to come visit our bird banding
station at Fort Morgan.
We open our nets before dawn and usually close for the day between
mid-afternoon and dark, depending on the flow of birds. This is the place to
see
those tree-top birds in much shorter vegetation and better yet in the hand.
Bring your good camera and the mind of child and let us dazzle you with the
spectacle of fresh plumaged spring birds. How does male Painted Buntings and
Swainson's Warblers sound to you?
Our banding is free and open to the public... there is sometimes a charge
for entry onto the Fort Property.
