[TN-Bird] Intro from Lewis County

Howdy all,

I'm a 32-year-long birder (got started by a seventh-grade science
teacher). I've lived in Georgia, South Carolina, California, and
Colorado, and moved to western Lewis County about four years ago. I
have only just this year finally gotten the rest of my circumstances
under control enough to get back to birding regularly, so expect to
hear more from me. I'm on 38 acres of old fields, brush, and woods
in the heart of the Western Highland Rim, about one mile east of the
Perry County Line and 5 miles west of Hohenwald . I've heard
botanists comment that the Western Highland Rim is an
underappreciated and understudied area for botanical diversity, and
it seems that the same might apply for birds too. I seem to be in a
bit of a migrant trap on this little farm, if I can judge from the 30
species of warblers I've seen here in the last 5 weeks, and that is
without Pine or Orange-crowned Warblers. Never thought I'd have a
"yard" list of 134 species (and counting) without living on the
coast. So, here I am; I'll keep y'all posted!
