Anyone interested in the recent White-faced Ibis in Lake Co, I was notified that the White-faced Ibis was seen at Reelfoot by Larry Walker, very near where it was recently, on Sunday morning. Nancy is still out of town I guess, but I think she should be back soon and can check on the bird. This time it was on the Black Bayou side. Following is the info I got in the email, and it's all that I know as of now. I will ask that if he sees it again to let me know, and I'll post. The Ibis was seen at 07:45 Sunday morning. Coming east on 213 towards Nancy's or Gray's Camp, you'll take the right on Cohoctaw Mckutchen Rd, which takes you through Black Bayou. The bird was seen feeding in the field to the east of the road, just before you hit the 1st corner at the woods. There were a lot of gulls in this area, but the bird wasn't with anything else. Obviously it could be in any of the wet spots in this general vicinity, as this is less than a mile from the original location. If I find out anything else I will pass along ASAP! Good Birding!!
