[TN-Bird] Hiwassee Refuge- Sandhill Crane Viewing Area

I birded Hiwassee Refuge sandhill crane viewing area in Meigs Co., TN on 
December 18, 2006 from 2:00 pm to 2:40 pm.  Birds observed include

1. Double-crested Cormorant- at least 7
2. Great Egret- 2
3. Great Blue Heron- 14
4. American Black Duck- 1
5. Ring-necked Duck- 1
6. Ruddy Duck- 2
7. Gadwall- at least 25 probably more
8. Mallard- at least 241
9. Green-winged Teal- 3
10. Northern Pintail- 5
11. Northern Shoveler- 1
12. American Wigeon- 2
13. Hooded Merganser- 13
14. Red-tailed Hawk- 1
15. Sandhill Cranes- 1000s
X Whooping Cranes- none seen
16. American Coot- 2
