[TN-Bird] Henslow's Sparrow - Catoosa Co.

This morning (10/7/08) around 9:30 I had a brief but satisfying look at a
Henslow's Sparrow in the field across from my house. The bird first popped
up behind a branch giving me only a look at his head, but the massive pink
bill and yellow-green face made it easy to ID. The bird then did the typical
Ammodramus thing and jumped down into the thick brush giving me a short look
at the buffy flanks with thin streaking. Henslow's Sparrow was a new yard
bird (and surprisingly the first Ammodramus on my yard list), #156!
Other than that there weren't really any other migrants around other than
the expected Magnolia Warblers.
Good Birding!
