Great morning Birders,
At my home in Charlotte Park, West Nashville, Davidson County, a few blocks
east of Cleece's Boat Ramp, one male and one female ruby throated hummingbird
gave me the "show of shows" just now with their version of the DANCE OF THE
HOURS. Up and down and around and around the feeder they danced. Now that I
am
inside, they are still at it over the deck and around the morning glories and
up into the trees. What a Saturday sight to see! I shot lots of pictures
which I'll edit once I figure out how to put them into my computer with this
"thingamajig" with which I have to install them. I hope I can do that without
having to drive over to the camera shop and get someone to load them for me. I
have the equipment, but I'm just technologically impaired enough to continue to
have difficulties in learning the logistics of using it! There are many
other hummers here this morning, but those two are the "stars!"
What a thrilling way to start the weekend!
Happy birding,
Dee Thompson
Nashville, TN
