[TN-Bird] Harpeth River State Park

Harpeth River St. Park
Gossett Tract
Cheatham Cnty.
11-24-05
I birded a few hours this morning at a new state park.
The habitat here is weedy fields and riparian. The fields were
teeming with sparrows of five species; Field, Song, Swamp,
White-throated and Fox. I had looks at all the woodpeckers
except Hairy along the river trail.

The park is located in west Cheatham Cnty. on Cedar Bluff
Rd. 8/10 of a mile north of Highway 70. There is a sign at
the entrance.
