 TN birders,

On my commute to Erlanger Hospital this am, saw about 125 sandhills flying up
river toward the Chickamauga Dam, having just flown over Amnicola Marsh area.
The time was 7:48.

Also, I am walking the Brainerd Levee(Chattanooga, Hamilton Co) in the
afternoon, having done so on 14/16/17/20Nov between 5:20 and 6:15pm window.
Species encountered include:

Great blue heron
Canada goose
wood duck
Green-winged teal
Amer Black duck(flying into the creeek)
Mallard
Northern Pintail(maximum of 4 males)
Northern Shoveler(6)
Gadwall-most numerous specie
Red-shouldered Hawk-max of 3 seen on 20Nov
Wild Turkey-1 seen on side of levee opposite end of Boyd-Buchanan school
Am Coot
Killdeer-heard only
ring-billed gulls-few
mourning dove-few fly bys
Great horned owl-1 herd on 16Nov-pitch sounded female
Belted Kingfisher
eastern Phoebe
Amer Crow
Carolina Wren
House wren
Eastern Bluebird
Amer Robin
Northern Mockingbird
Amer Pipit-2 flyovers
Euro starling

I know several are looking for the Amer wigeon for the county year list, but
fading light or nonpresence has kept me from getting it for my TN year list.
