[tn-bird] Hairy time

As I sit at my computer each morning, once again I have the joy of watching
two hairy woodpeckers inspect my water maple tree for breakfast or dinner.
Each year about this time, they appear and place that tree on their feeding
circuit. One year, they even joined company on my bird feeder where they
played peek-a-boo with each other around the feeder tube before flying off in
tandem. One was doing a thorough inspection of a utility pole two houses
away a few days ago, but I have not seen it back there again. They do not
usually stay this long before heading out (probably over to Bell's Bend from
when I believe a number of my winter yard birds come. Bell's Bend is only
four blocks and the Cumberland River's width away from my house, but about 15
miles by road since they closed Cleece's Ferry).

I have only seen one sapsucker this year. HE was with the hairys yesterday,
and HE was scrumptiously beautiful.
