[TN-Bird] Gunstocker Creek embayment Hiwassee River

I birded the Gunstocker Creek embayment on the Hiwassee River in Meigs 
County, TN (Delorme Atlas page 25 near B-6) on December 28, 2006 from 11:50 
am to 11:59 am.  Chickamauga Lake elevation was 677.51 feet at noon which 
exposed about 30 acres of mudflats.  Birds seen include:

1. Killdeer- 22
2. Wilson snipe- 10
3. Great blue heron- 2
4. American black duck- 2
5. Mallard- 2
6. Gadwall- 2
7. Hooded merganser- 10
8. Sandhill cranes- 112
9. Ring-billed gull- 1

and various songbirds.
