Today (Sunday, March 29) after the KTOS field trip to the Smokies, a few
of us went looking for wildflowers at Chestnut Top Trail near the
Townsend entrance to the Park. While there, we saw our first
BLACK-THROATED GREEN WARBLER of the year.
On the way to the field trip around 8 a.m., I heard 4 or 5 LOUISIANA
WATERTHRUSHes along the road from the Townsend Y to Cades Cove.
