i took 2 barn owl bodies to walden puddle several years ago after they'd died
apparently from deconed mice. their owlets tho did return the next year. barn
owl families had been in that tree for about 20 years (neighbor has a photo
dated 20 years earlier). i've moved from there now (watertown, TN) but i
understand the owls are still in the area tho no longer in that tree. the
puddle said they'd send the bodies for taxidermy and use them for educational
purposes.

Subject: Injured Barred Owl There is an injured Barred Owl on the train
tracks near Stewart's Ferry Pike in Hermitage (Davidson Co). Any suggestions
on what can be done? He/she appears to have a wing injury. Thanks,
