Just received a call from Jeff Wilson and he had both Glossy Ibis and
Tricolored Heron about a mile north of the Obion River on The Great River
Road in Dyer County. Both birds were in breeding plumage. He also said that
the Fulvous Whistling Ducks could be found anywhere along The Great River
Road from Mossy Island WMA north to Owl Hoot. He and some other birders will
be in the area tomorrow. Anyone wishing to contact Jeff can reach him on his
cell phone at 901-487-8521.
Good Birding,
Mark Greene
Trenton, TN
