Yesterday I heard a fluttering sound and found a young Car. Wren in a flower
pot in which I had placed a smaller pot of flowers. When I lifted the small
pot out, the wren flew out but it was too late for another one that was
unable to get out. Another hazard is a pipe that has been driven in the
ground with no cap--also, outside vents for laundry dryers.
