[TN-Bird] Franklin County Roadside Raptor Survey/Shrike-a-palooza

On Thursday, Feb 20, we completed the Roadside Raptor Survey for Franklin
County, TN. We drove approximately 60 miles between 10 a.m .& 2 p.m. The
highlight of the day - four Loggerhead Shrikes. The Shrikes were spotted along
Sugar Cove Rd, Skidmore Ln, Little Mountain Rd and Georgia Crossing Rd (all of
the sites are rural Franklin County near the Winchester/Cowan/Decherd area).
Additional sightings:
9 Red-tailed hawks
1 Cooper's Hawk
10 American Kestrels
13 Turkey Vultures
3 Black Vultures
