Lake Co, Tn. Reelfoot Lake area Phillippy Pits Phillippy Unit of Black Bayou Drove around for a while looking for wet lands and any shore birds. There is a nice population at the Phillippy unit still. An Am. Bald Eagle flushed out most of them and I could see there was at least 100 Pectoral S. P. and Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs. Some of the flocks were too far away to get any ID. When they came back in they came in behind some trees and landed. I could hear the greater and Lesser Yellow legs. In the Phillippy Unit of Black Bayou where the old location of the Handicapped hunting blind used to be there were two Little Blue Herons sitting in a dead tree. Also found a FOS Eastern Kingbird sitting on a wire.
