Since bird email traffic is slow during the summer duldrums,
those who may not have already seen this might wish to check
out the following links for a preview of plates from a new
bird ID guide (presumedly for ABA area) by Richard Crossley
which is apparently in the works:
http://www.birdingonthe.net/crossley/slides1.html
http://10000birds.com/could-this-be-north-americas-best-id-guide.htm
Crossley was one of the co-authors of the recently published
"The Shorebird Guide". I have not heard an expected publication
date for the new book. Definitely looks interesting. Maybe
for a change it will be an actual US guide and include Hawaii.
