[TN-Bird] Foothills Parkway, Blount Co

Yesterday afternoon around 1:30 I headed out with Allan (in the stroller) and
the dogs for a walk on the closed, northern section of the Foothills Parkway
(Blount County). I had a nice variety of birds for that time of the day.
Mostly I used the CAROLINA CHICKADEES as guideposts for where to look.
Whenever I heard several of them calling in an area I checked it out. In one
spot I heard Chickadees and WHITE BREASTED NUTHATCHES calling back in the
poison ivy. I thought maybe they found a gourmet meal, but later discovered
that they (and a few warblers) were mobbing a BARRED OWL.

Other birds include:
Swainson's Thrush
Chestnut-Sided Warbler
Tennessee Warbler
Palm Warbler
Pine Warbler
Broad WIng Hawk
Cedar Waxwing
Downy Woodpecker
Red Bellied Woodpecker
Flicker
Cardinal
Blue Jays
American Crows
