Spring is here -- an osprey to go with the mad chorus of peepers and the smell
of wild onions.

A friend in Oak Ridge (Anderson Co.) tells me he came upon a kettle of ~100
small hawks (I presume Broadwings) in
west Oak Ridge 2 weekends ago. He's not a birder, and was completely mystified
and amazed at the sight.

Happy spring migration, everyone.
