Hi folks,

I just wanted to let folks know my field crew and I have been seeing/hearing 
Red Crossbills regularly along Clingmans Dome Road in Great Smoky Mountains 
National Park for the past few weeks.  They've been much harder for me to find 
in this area the past two years, so it's fun hearing them fly over frequently 
now.  Seems like a good year for them here.  They're frequently seen up at Mt. 
LeConte lodge however, even when less common in other areas of the park.
