Dan Jacobson and I did our annual Hamilton County big day on Friday
September 27, weather was great, saw 88 species for the day which is above
average for us. Highlights included:
FRANKLINS GULL - Chester Frost, adult bird, only second record for Hamilton
County and a county bird for both of us.

Virginia Rail -Standifer Gap Marsh
Sora - Standifer Gap Marsh
American Woodcock - Standifer Gap Marsh, my first September record for this
species in TN!
