Hi Birders,

Just had my FOS chipping sparrow here at Dee's Smorgabird in the Charlotte
Park section of West Nashville, Davidson County. It's a chipper little
chippie just dashing around feeding on all the seeds in sight. It flew up
onto a
grape vine and posed for me to digicam it.

A female slate-colored junco arrived yesterday to join the male. They don't
seem to want to associate much with the dark-eyed junco scout that arrived
first. Thought these two "species" were compatible, but these are not acting
like it. Maybe they have "junco-ality" clashes with it.

Cheers, prayers & happy birding,

De Thompson
Nashville, TN
