Kinglets are so special to us - something about seeing those beautiful little
balls of activity goes through the eye and makes an impact on the soul. This
morning I caught movement in the cedar bush beside our deck and got my
binocular on it just in time to see a tiny head with a golden slash of
brilliant color pop out and it was our first-of-season Golden-crowned Kinglet.
Sure made for a sweet start to a spring day.
