The 41st consecutive Elizabethton Fall Count was held on Saturday, 25 Sep. Thirty observers in 8 parties tallied 128 species, which is slightly above the average of 124 species over the last 20 years. Area covered: Carter Co. & parts of adjacent Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi, & Washington Cos. Eleven species were found in record high numbers, noted in the following list.
