I birded TWRA's Eagle Bend Fish Hatchery in Clinton, Anderson County, TN today (April 16, 2007) from 7:32 am to 8:36 am. The following are select birds seen during this time. 1. Upland Sandpiper- 1 (on road just past entrance gate) 2. Pectoral Sandpiper- 8 3. Lesser Yellowlegs- 2 4. Solitary Sandpiper- 2 5. Killdeer- 6 6. Wilson Snipe- 1 7. Double-crested Cormorant- at least 5 8. Blue-winged Teal- 6 9. Canvasback- 1 (A canvasback has been at Eagle Bend since March 22, 2007) 10. Ring-necked Duck- 1 11. Bufflehead- 6 12. American Coot- 2 13.
