Cove Island
Knox County
I observed a somewhat lame Dunlin for about 15 minutes from about
20' away on the near shore of the cove. I saw the bird yesterday
from a distance, but was unable to confirm the identification
until today. Also present in the half-frozen cove were:
Horned Grebe 1
Pied-billed Grebe 2
Bufflehead 4
N. Shoveler 3
