Hello TN-Birders.
After a couple of months, I am finally back on line after a computer break
down.
Here in the Charlotte Park area of West Nashville, not much is going on
bird-wise. I did have two baby downey woodpeckers that were hanging upside
down
and feeding on something from a grape vine on my deck. I took some pretty good
photos of them.
My bossy mockingbirds are still scarfing up the peanit butter.
Two beautiful Eurasian collared doves eat daily and often on Dee's Smorgabird
on the deck. My birder friends in Florida tell me I'll soon regret their
presence as much as I now do starlings..I wonder if they have a nest.
Good birding to all,
Dee Thompson
