There were 5 dowitchers off Lowe's Ferry Rd in Louisville yesterday the
21st, one of which was a LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER. They were at the pond
between Hitch Pond, which is nearly dry, and the heron rookery at Phelps
Farm (this is same location of last year's black-necked stilt). It was
raining and the others could not be studied closely. Also present were
one LEAST SANDPIPER, a dozen GADWALL and 6 AMERICAN WIDGEONS.
