[TN-Bird] Crane Festival

Just a reminder of the upcoming crane festival.
Sat. & Sun., Feb. 4th & 5th, 2006: 14TH ANNUAL CHEROKEE INDIAN HERITAGE/
SANDHILL CRANE VIEWING DAYS AT BIRCHWOOD, TN. 8:00AM-4:00PM.
This will be the 14th year of the very popular Cherokee Indian
Heritage/Sandhill Crane
viewing days. Festivities are set to begin at Birchwood School, in the
Birchwood community,
on Hwy 60. As always there will be shuttle bus service to the Hiwassee
Refuge for crane
and wildlife viewing. Those that are local to the Chattanooga area check
the Chattanooga
Times/Free Press or log onto tn-birds.org and check the CTOS's monthly
newletter The
Chat for a schedule of events and times.
DIRECTIONS:
Either I-75 North or South get off at exit #25, in Cleveland, Tn. and go
west approximately
15 miles to the Birchwood Community.
