[TN-Bird] Cormorant nests and Fish Crows on Lyon's Island, Knox County

I managed to get out via kayak a bit on Sunday afternoon (3/22) to check
the rookery on Lyon's Island in Knoxville, Knox County. The island is
visible from Lakeshore Park looking downriver.

In what I would qualify as a very rough count, I saw about 30 Great Blue
Heron nests, about 24 Black-crowned Night Heron nests, and at least 11
Double-crested Cormorant nests. I took some pictures hoping I can get a
better count from them, but I haven't had time to look at them yet.

Two years ago I think there were 3 cormorant nests there, up to 8 last
year, and clearly more this year.

Also hanging out at the island were 6 Fish Crows. They were fairly
vocal, and I got a number of photographs. Fish Crows are occasionally
seen/heard at Lakeshore Park a quarter mile or so upstream of the island
and also in the Riverbend neighborhood area across from the UT Plant
Sciences farm a mile or two downriver.

I saw 7 Osprey, 5 Tree Swallows, and a Great Horned Owl (on a nest)
while paddling from near Plant Sciences up to Lyons Island.

Later I stopped by Looney Island off Cherokee Blvd and in a quick scan
counted 44 Great Blue Heron nests.
