[TN-Bird] Connecticut Warbler in the Smokies!!

Hi folks,

Today, just before 11 am, I heard a Connecticut Warbler singing. A
co-worker, who is a fledgling birder, also heard it, and was the
first to spot it. We didn't get good looks, but did see some yellow
and a dark head (not enough to ID by sight alone). We heard it sing
3-4 times before 63 5th grade kids came down. Whether it left, or
was simply drowned out, I can't say! The kids were, as usual, more
intrigued with the very curious carpenter bees buzzing around the
area. Though they seemed mildly interested when I pointed out the
singing Indigo Bunting behind me.

We were on the Tremont campus in Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
 Blount County.

Lat 35 degrees 38'23" long 83 degrees 41'22"

Exact location, for those of you familiar with our campus, was 5 feet
behind the Councilhouse on the office side.

Good birding!

Charlie
