[tn-bird] Connecticut Warbler, Gray-cheeked Thrush, etc. (Greene Co., TN)

Alice Loftin and I had a great few hours birding today, in town near our
backyard and at a farm in the Tusculum area. Migrants, especially
non-warbler species, were easy to come by; by the time I logged my first
starling, I had already seen Gray-cheeked Thrush, Bobolink, and Sora.
The day's totals included:

Sora;
Ruby-throated Hummingbird (4);
Northern Rough-winged Swallow (2);
House Wren;
Gray-cheeked Thrush (2);
Gray Catbird (3);
White-eyed Vireo (2);
Red-eyed Vireo;
Tennessee Warbler (3);
Magnolia Warbler (2);
Black-throated Green Warbler;
Yellow-rumped Warbler;
Connecticut Warbler;
Common Yellowthroat (6);
Rose-breasted Grosbeak (2);
Blue Grosbeak (2);
Indigo Bunting (45);
Bobolink (500+).

The Bobolink experience was truly amazing. The birds were feeding on
grass seeds in a native-grass field planted in 2001 by TWRA on the farm
to which we have access. They kept moving around in the field in
waves--some of a few birds, some of more than a hundred, all the while
giving the characteristic "enk" call. The Sora was also in the field
with the Bobolinks and revealed itself when flushed by our dogs as they
tracked a rabbit through the grass. To observed even one Bobolink in
Greene County is noteworthy. To find a large flock is delightfully
stunning.
