Edge habitat between the wooded creek and a warm season grass planting
at the 4-H Center produced a close look at a Connecticut Warbler this
morning. According to a wonderful book I just acquired at a certain
book signing party recently, this date seems a little early for
Oporornis agilis in the nearby five northeastern counties of Tennessee.
I look forward someday to acquiring a similar book that will cover the
birding records of Greene County as well. :-)
