I have no idea who reported the Connecticut or where (I haven't gone back
and looked), but I agree this is extremely early. I have often been
surprised by how similar Northern Waterthrush can sound to Connecticut with
its staccato tone. Then again, birds travel on their own schedule, so
anything's possible.
