[TN-Bird] Chickamauga Birds

I birded Chickamauga Reservoir/Hiwassee River on October 26, 2007 from 10:12 am 
to 3:12. The following are lists of selected waterfowl/herons/egrets and 
shorebirds seen at each creek embayment visited.
 
 
North Mouse Creek embayment (mudflats exposed)

Roger's Creek embayment (mudflats exposed)

4. Least sandpiper- 4
5. Great egret- 1
 
Prices Creek embayment (no mudflats exposed)
1. Killdeer- 1
2. Double-crested cormorant- 3
Gunstocker Creek embayment (mudflats exposed)
1. Wilson's snipe- 1
2. Killdeer- 8
3. Great egret- 3
4. Double-crested cormorant- 6
5. Hooded merganser- 9
 
Sugar Creek embayment (mudflats exposed)
1. Great egret- 12
2. Blue-winged teal- 35
3. Pied-billed grebe- 5
4. Killdeer- 82
5. Double-crested cormorant- 10
6. Northern shoveler- 6
7. Least sandpiper- 9
8. Dowitcher species- 2
9. Dunlin- 5
 
Candies Creek embayment (no mudflats exposed)
