TN birders,
Spent the better part of the day driving the Cherohala Skyway, as I had not
been to Whigg Meadow for over 2 decades.? Hit Indian Boundary, Rattlesnake Rock
Trail for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, and then drove to Whigg Meadow.? Picked
up three species I had missed in spring migration for TN year
birds-chesnut-sided and Canada warblers and Veery.? Other birds of interest
included 2 broad-winged hawks, acadian flycatcher, blue-headed vireo, red-evey
vireo, wod thrush, gray catbird, black-throated blue and green warblers,
prairie, worm-eating, and hooded warblers, and scarlet tanager.
