This is Update Number #10 made on June 4, 2005.

David Patterson reports a pair of Willow Flycatchers back breeding at
Standifer Gap Marsh again this year. For exact directions to the nest
contact David.

Laura Lewis reported a late migrant male Blackburnian Warbler outside her
window at the Cherokee National Forest headquarters in Cleveland (Bradley
co.) on June 2.

Some other late migrants include a singing Swainson's Thrush along Ochs
highway on Lookout Mountain on May 29 and a singing Blue-headed Vireo along
Lookout Creek also on May 29. (Kevin Calhoon)

The results for the National Migration Count in Hamilton county on May 14
have finally been tallied and 135 species were record. Below average, but
not too bad for how late the count was in May this year.

Cattle Egret

Least Bittern

Forster's Tern

Hooded Merganser

Northern Harrier

Merlin

Peregrine Falcon

Virginia Rail

Sora
