[TN-Bird] &Cardinal & blue jay sun side-by-side

Hello Birders & Friends,

Talk about "Peaceable Kingdom!" Here in the Charlotte Park section of West
Nashville today, one of my male cardinals and a blue jay were sunning
(anting, maybe) within one foot of each other VERY peaceably. It was a
gorgeous
sight. I watched them for a couple of minutes, then reached for my camera
which was on the dining table. The blue jay detected my motion and flew up to
the deck rail. That would have been one great photo, so I am sorry I missed
it. Can't win 'em all!

Happy birding, Y'all. In this heat, I'm doing all my birdwatching from
inside where I can enjoy my air conditioning! Maybe I'll be up to getting
outside and doing a little walking by autumn. Recuperation is slow, but, with
physical therapy, it is steady. My wonderful health team is really working
with
me just fabulously. I'm sure lucky to have them all and all the supportive
people who have been so great. Thanks to everyone.

Dee Thompson
Nashville, TN.
