(April 7th)The continuing Burrowing Owl was visible from daylight (soon
after 6:00) to 6:26 A.M. when it dropped down to it’s burrow. The South end
of the sand mound has trees on top, and the North end is soft sand. Best
viewing is just North of the trees, where I stuck pear branches in the
ground at the 2 best places to set up a scope. Scan until you see an Orange
chain hanging  between 2 metal posts. The mound it sits on is just to the
right of this, and has white limestone rocks at its base. I am attaching
photos that show exactly where to look.
