A group of us from Memphis area went to the Wolf River Boardwalk at
Rossville, Fayette Co. (William Clark Natural Area) yesterday, May 22. A brown
creeper was seen and heard singing at the end of the boardwalk. It was
climbing a large dead tree close to the boardwalk.
The creeper has been documented as a breeeder in Fayette Co before, but it
is still a rare summer bird in west TN.
