[TN-Bird] Britton Ford Banaza

Date Tuesday Nov 18, 2003
I did not get around to reading Olcoot's report until about 8 oclock last
night.
My wife Eula and I made plans to leave fairly early Tuesday morning for
Britton Ford.

Before we left my weather alert radio came on and said that we were in a
tornado watch area until 12:00 oclock noon.

We left anyway and 68.8 miles later through misty rai arrived at the Britton
Ford viewing platform at 0900.

Thru misty rain I was able to see Jeff's Piedbill, Horned, Red-Necked, and
Western Grebes. I saw only 2 Surfscoters and one Whire-Winged scoters, the
Goldeneye some Redheads and several Canvasbacks. I did not see thevarious
geese.

It started raining harder so we left at about 9:30 and returned through very
heavy rain until way past Dover, arriving home at about 11:00.
