This evening at it's annual banquet the Bristol Bird Club passed the hat to
accept donations for our neighbors to the South, the Alabama Ornithological
Society to benefit their effort in recovering from hurricane damage. Dauphin
Island is said to be in shambles and buried in tons of storm debris. Our
contribution to that effort will be sent right away. Our hope is that other TOS
chapters will follow suit and aid in the storm damage relief work going on now
in one
the most important migratory birding hot spots in the US.

President, Bristol Bird Club
