Reelfoot Lake,
Lake Co. Tn
Looking out over my "front Yard" is always fascinating. This morning we enjoyed
a beautiful sunrise and during an early breakfast, with guests, we were
treated with various birds..A great Horned Owl hooting across the lake, a flock
of White Pelicans, flying around and floating by, DC Cormorants doing a drive,
an increase in Gull population, Ringbilled and Bonies, 6 Red breast Mergansers
(which are new to my front yard list) , Bald Eagle in the tree on the shore
line, Red breasted Nut hatches, White breasted Nut hatches, Purple finches,
along with the usual Cardinals, Titmouse, Carolina Chickadees, lots of
Goldfinches, Downy Woodpeckers, Red-bellied Woodpecker, and the ever present
House Sparrows. Life is good.
