[TN-Bird] Bluebird Houses

Our Bluebirds can enter a 1-1/4" hole, but it is tight; our House Sparrows
cannot.
We use a house with a 1-7/16" hole, but if House Sparrows start entering, we
bush (sorry for the political word!) it down to 1-1/4" until they leave.

I have read that an elliptical hole 1-1/2" wide and 1-1/4" high will admit
Bluebirds comfortably and exclude House Sparrows.
