Spring is on the way as I had 5 Tree swallows flying over the Miser Station mudflats in Blount County. From the bridge I also had the Great egret, 17 Common snipe, 9 Killdeer and 3 American pipits. Past the Vet office on Lillard Lane were approximately 150 Canda geese and 18 Sandhill cranes. No sign of the White-fronted goose that has been seen in the same area.
