Today I had what I think was a Black-capped Chickadee at my feeders. He
did seem very large and had clean, white cheek patches. Could this be a
Black-cap? In Cleveland,TN, (not sure of the exact location) My friends
had what I'm positive were 2 black-caps? They had the same characteristics
as this one did, except I heard these. They had a very low call, and I
know it wasn't my ears because I heard some Carolinas around the same
time, and there was a major difference. I stay on the lookout for him
again, and maybe next time I see I'll step outside and see what he sounds
like.
Good Birding!
