Quick correction:
The two Black Terns we had were at Paris Landing State Park in Henry
County. The only terns we found at Mud Lake were numerous Least Terns.
I have a few Black Tern records from Old Hickory Lake in June, although
they are mostly associated with thunderstorms. I don't think that
association is statistically significant, but it's interesting
nonetheless.
