other areas in western Greene Co.

Thanks to Don Holt's posting yesterday (and phone call on my answering
machine), I went out this morning to check some of the sites in western
Greene County and had pretty good results, to wit:

Great Egret (8, WMDC);
Green Heron (4, WMDC);
Green-winged Teal (2, WMDC);
Blue-winged Teal (10, WMDC);
Pectoral Sandpiper (3 juveniles, WMDC);
Black Tern (juvenile still present, WMDC);
Ruby-throated Hummingbird (JBR);
Red-headed Woodpecker (2 adults, Bible's Chapel Rd. 0.1 mi. east of
Oakwood Rd.);
Tree Swallow (157+);
Northern Rough-winged Swallow (2);
Cliff Swallow;
Barn Swallow (5);
American Redstart (JBR);
Common Yellowthroat (JBR);
Indigo Bunting (5);
Savannah Sparrow (3, WMDC).
