[TN-Bird] Birds at home; snail kite in SC

Greetings,

To keep within the theme of Tennessee birds, I'll report that one of my male
cardinals is feeding his female, two of the baby mockingbirds have been sent
away by the parents who are still caring for the late-arriving one, and baby
starlings are "taking over" here in the Charlotte Park section of West
Nashville. I also had a LONE male red-winged blackbird early this morning.

The following link is to a nice report of a snail kite being found in South
Carolina which I thought might interest many of you. The link was published
on FLORIDA BIRDING and leads to a good story.
