This morning and early afternoon, Linda Northrop and I partially

halfway between North Mohawk Road and Highway 348 (Greene County));
Gadwall (6, Dutch Bottoms);
Blue-winged Teal (3, Sapp Road (Greene County));
Northern Shoveler (10, Green Road adjacent to the field with the Cattle
Egret);
Osprey (2 at nest, Dutch Bottoms);
Lesser Yellowlegs (Sapp Road);
Least Sandpiper (Dutch Bottoms);
Herring Gull (5, Dutch Bottoms);
Red-headed Woodpecker (2, Green Road 0.3 mile from Highway 348);
Tree Swallow (2, Dutch Bottoms);
Pine Warbler (2, Cocke County);
Chipping Sparrow (2--1 Greene County, 1 Cocke County).
We also observed the following butterflies:
Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (Weaver's Bend and elsewhere in Cocke County);
Clouded Sulphur (Greene County);
Cabbage White (Greene County);
Checkered White (Greene County);
West Virginia White (Weaver's Bend);
Falcate Orangetip (Dutch Bottoms, Weaver's Bend);
